Course Description

This seminar explores the life, writings, and theology of St. Augustine of Hippo (354–430). We will pursue two primary objectives. First, we will consider Augustine’s development as a theologian, presbyter, and bishop. Second, we will also examine Augustine’s theology as he articulated it in expository, apologetic, pastoral, and polemical contexts
