Strangers No More: The Gospel in the Vision of Zechariah

Two men sit in a classroom, one in a gray cap laughing. Books and a tumbler are on tables. The atmosphere is relaxed and engaging.

Cleansed and Commissioned: Zechariah 3 and the Hope of the Branch.

Two men, focused, sit at a table. One has a long white beard; the other wears glasses. A laptop, blue tumbler, and cup are in front of them.

A focused exegetical seminar on Zechariah 3 that situates the vision within post‑exilic restoration, temple rebuilding, and priestly renewal. Through close reading, you will trace the scene’s symbolism—the filthy garments and clean vestments, the angel of the Lord, Satan’s accusation, and the charge to walk faithfully—while unpacking themes of purification, priestly mediation, covenant identity, and the promise of “the Branch.” The course links Zechariah’s vision to the Messiah’s atoning work and to the Church’s restored vocation in worship, holiness, and mission.
