The IT Associate helps keep Trinity Anglican Seminary’s technology running smoothly and securely so faculty, staff, and students can focus on teaching, learning, and formation without distraction. In many ways, this role clears the path for the school’s mission to thrive by taking care of the behind-the-scenes details that keep things moving day to day. The right person is both technically skilled and genuinely helpful, someone who explains things clearly, tackles problems before they grow, and can juggle hands-on support with a bigger-picture mindset. They’re organized, take initiative, and see their work not just as fixing systems, but as a practical way to serve and support the seminary community.

Job Summary

The Information Technology (IT) Associate supports the Director in the execution and coordination of all IT functions for Trinity Anglican Seminary. This role combines hands-on technical support with operational oversight, ensuring reliable IT services, strong user support, and secure, efficient systems. The Associate helps implement strategic initiatives while maintaining day-to-day IT operations across campus.

Requirements

Knowledge , Skills, Abilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across diverse IT systems
  • Working knowledge of networks, cloud services, operating systems, and basic security practices
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
  • Solid organizational and project coordination abilities
  • Capacity to train, support, and serve users with patience and clarity
  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role
  • Experience with both hands-on technical support and operational coordination preferred
  • Primary Duties

    Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot issues for faculty, staff, and students

    Maintain core systems, user accounts, and performance

    Support training, documentation, and event technology

    Assist with security and compliance

    Contribute to planning, projects, vendors, and coordination
