The Kitchen Assistant will create an atmosphere of hospitality for Trinity students, faculty, staff, and guests through preparing and serving quality food at Trinity lunches, post-worship coffee hours, and events.

Requirements

Knowledge , Skills, Abilities

Experience in a cooking/baking environment, preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
Possess organization skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to attend work consistently and punctually

Primary Duties

Assist with the preparation, cooking, baking, and serving of food/beverages in multiple kitchens and dining settings
Clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen work areas, and dining settings
Coordinate student kitchen assistants and volunteers

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:

Stand and work for extended hours in potentially hot or cold surroundings
Navigate between two kitchens approximately ½ mile distance
Work occasional evenings and weekends during Seminary-hosted events
Lift up to 30lbs

Salary and Benefits:

Part time work, at $15 per hour
