Mrs. Barbara Knecht sees Trinity through multiple lenses. As a former elementary educator and Chief Professional Officer of a Boys & Girls Club, she understands both the educator's classroom and the leader's boardroom, experience that now shapes how she serves students, staff, and administration as Academic Operations Administrator and DMin Administrator.
Barbara sees Trinity as a Christ-centered oasis, a place where she felt called to work from her very first visit. In her academic operations role, she ensures students have clarity and confidence by coordinating course offerings and faculty assignments well in advance. As DMin Administrator, she pastors doctoral students through their formation journey, celebrating every milestone from first course to thesis defense to graduation.
Trinity's formation isn't just academic; it's communal. Barbara lights up when describing spontaneous moments of worship: "When we break into 'Holy, Holy, Holy' and reach that final phrase, 'God in three persons, blessed Trinity!' I get goosebumps." Watching graduates serve faithfully in ministry is one of her greatest joys.
Barbara and her husband love the outdoors, camping and hiking, along with scrapbooking. They treasure time with their kids and grandsons.
