Leonard Finn brings an unusual combination of gifts to his teaching: a PhD in Old Testament from the University of Toronto, an MPhil in English Literature, and a decade of experience as a marketing director in New York City. This blend of literary sensitivity, biblical scholarship, and real-world leadership shapes how he helps students engage Scripture with theological depth and pastoral wisdom.
Len's areas of expertise include theological hermeneutics, pre-critical exegesis, and wisdom literature in the Old Testament. His background in English literature informs his biblical interpretation, helping students read the text with attention to both its ancient context and its continuing voice in the church's life. Having taught at universities, colleges, and seminaries across the United States and Canada, Len translates complex scholarship into accessible formation for future ministers.
As rector of All Saints Anglican Church in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, Len remains deeply connected to the weekly rhythms of parish ministry. This dual calling, teaching future priests while serving a local congregation, keeps his classroom instruction grounded in the lived realities of Anglican worship and pastoral care.
Len earned his MDiv from Trinity School for Ministry, where his own formation began. He now helps shape the next generation of students discovering their calling to serve God's people.
