Mr. Tyler Marwood serves as Director of Advancement Communications after many years leading marketing and communications at the Coalition for Christian Outreach. He holds a BS from Geneva College (2009) and a certificate from Trinity itself (2010). He believes that no matter where you serve, you are working in ministry, and that communicating with clarity and passion shows God's light in the world.
Mr. Marwood leads a small team preparing print and digital pieces that tell Trinity's story with excellence, always with his team's own formation and discipleship in mind. The job of communications is to support the work of faculty, staff, and students with integrity and joy. The more people who know about the work happening here, the more priests, deacons, and lay leaders can be raised up to serve the Church.
Trinity's tight-knit community makes it special. He points to morning prayer, where faculty, staff, and students center their days on God's Word, and to the seminary eating together, especially the Greek lunch buffet. His prayer is that students encounter Jesus in their studies and leave with a deep, abiding sense of God's love that transforms their hearts toward humility and love for a broken world. Outside the office he plays the organ, works in the garden, and takes walks with his family. And yes, he has his motorcycle license.
