Explore Church based education

An overview of catechesis through the lenses of practical theology and spiritual formation, uniting sound doctrine with lived devotion. You will study theological and pedagogical principles for forming disciples, engage classic Anglican practices that shape heart and habit, and connect teaching to daily life through guided rhythms of prayer, Scripture, and service. The course frames faith development as growth into Christ’s likeness for the sake of others, equipping you to cultivate a parish culture where belief, worship, and love mature together.

An introduction to the catechetical core of Christian life and practice, exploring how the Catechism both informs the mind and forms the heart. You will trace how the Creeds model sound belief, how the Lord’s Prayer schools hopeful, resilient prayer, and how the Decalogue trains love of God and neighbor in daily life. Drawing on Scripture, classic Anglican sources, and parish-tested practices, the course links doctrine to devotion and habit, equipping you to teach, pray, and pastor in ways that shape a community’s imagination and conduct.
