Lead with integrity when it matters most

Safeguarding Training for the ACNA

Leadership in the church is a heavy responsibility, espeically in moments of power and vulnerbility. This course equips clergy, lay leaders, safeguarding officers, and seminarians to lead with integrity, accountability, and pastoral wisdom.

Together we will learn to recognize and respond to abuse, navigate safeguarding processes, and cultivate ethical cultures rooted in Scripture, Anglican history, and the ACNA's canonical structures. This course will help us prevent misconduct and form leaders whose exercise of authority reflects the character of Christ: protecting the vulnerable, speaking the truth, and treating discipline first as a path of discipleship.

Led by The Ven. Jessica Howe Jones, PhD, Archdeacon of the Gulf Atlantic Diocese, in partnership with the ACNA and The Rev. Dr. Kelley Munger, Director of Safeguarding.

Most participants will attend as a workshop. A limited number may take the course, PT 695, for academic credit.
