Try a Course
Auditing a course at Trinity Anglican Seminary allows you to participate in a seminary course without the pressure of grades or required assignments. You can audit residential or distance courses, and have access to the same content as degree-seeking students.
Auditors enjoy deepening their theological understanding and growing in practical ministry skills so that they can better serve in their churches and communities. It’s an affordable, flexible way to learn and become better equipped to serve as a ministry leader, whether lay or ordained. Give it a try!
For those who aren’t ready to apply to a full program, we offer the opportunity to be a non-matriculated student and try one course on an exploratory basis to experience what a seminary course is like. You have the option of registering at the master’s level to receive credit for the course, or at the certificate level (non-credit).
This differs from auditing in that the you participate fully in all coursework. If registered at the master’s level, you receive a final grade and academic credit for the course. The course can later be applied to a diploma or master’s program. If registered at the certificate level, you receive a pass/fail grade, and the course can later be applied to a certificate program.
Trying a course gives you a taste of the full experience and can inspire further learning in preparation for ministry, even if you do not pursue ordination or a degree.
