MDiv, Trinity Anglican Seminary, 2012
PhD, University of Durham, 2023

Since my graduation from Trinity, I have served the people of God at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in San Diego, CA, first as curate, then assistant rector, and now as rector. I was able to study for my doctorate part-time while continuing to serve in ministry. My dissertation was published in 2024 as Wisdom in the World: Toward a Renewed Christian Reading of Proverbs 8 through Wipf and Stock; Stock’s Princeton Theological Monograph Series. My overall academic and pastoral interest lies in forming Christians who are themselves equipped to return again and again to the word of God for its illuminating and transformative power. My wife, Mandy, and I have three children.
