Enscripturation: Finding Yourself in the Scriptures

January 2026 Intensive – Week Two – January 12-16, 2026

Course Description

Enscripturation is the practice that Christians have had, since New Testament times, of “finding” themselves in the Scriptures. In this seminar students will study the New Testament, the early Church, the Medieval Church, the Reformation Church, in order to consider the work that the Word has done in changing the way Christians see themselves. This investigation will be in the service of a crucial question: where in the Scriptures am I found?
