Elaine Alam

Mrs. Elaine Alam is Kitchen Assistant at Trinity Anglican Seminary. She came to the work out of a calling to serve people who want to learn about Christ and share the gospel. She has years of church ministry behind her: children's pastor, church secretary, lay minister, and oversight of a media ministry.

Mrs. Alam cooks for the students, faculty, and staff she meets each day. Community matters to her because it is where people get support and learn to give it back to others pursuing Christ and the mission of the gospel. She wants to encourage students in their walk with the Lord and to be a positive presence who shares hope and faith. Her work keeps the daily life of the seminary running while that formation happens.

She hopes students will grow in the grace and knowledge of faith, come to know who they are in Christ and what their purpose is for him, and fulfill the calling on their lives in a way that pleases him. Away from the kitchen she is happiest outdoors, watching birds and the variety of plant life God created, and she takes a day at the beach when she can get away.
