Mrs. Shannon Sims

MAR - 2019, Trinity Anglican Seminary
B.S. in Technical Communication - 2003, Carnegie Mellon University

Director of Registration

Director of Financial Aid

Director of Institutional Reporting

Mrs. Shannon Sims came to Trinity in 2015 to work on ATS accreditation and audit Greek and Homiletics. In that coursework, she met Jesus in a fresh way, truly human yet truly God Himself, walking around with us. With an MAR from Trinity and a BS in Technical Communication from Carnegie Mellon, plus 20 years serving as music director for an Anglican congregation, she now serves as Director of Registration, Financial Aid, and Institutional Reporting. She's excited for students to encounter their own faith in fresh ways and become better able to share God's reality with others.

Mrs. Sims has the chance during advising calls to help students in the middle of preparing for a lifetime of ministry, as they discover how what they're learning at Trinity can enhance the work God is calling them to do in the church for the sake of the world. Her experience on parish staff helps her listen compassionately and prayerfully to students as they navigate family, work, ministry, and coursework.

She's grateful for opportunities to support students, not just academically but physically. Serving seconds and helping in the kitchen is one of her favorite parts of Trinity's community life. Her hope is that students can launch from Trinity with newfound capacities to embody God's saving love to others in the chaos and beauty of the everyday. One of her favorite things to do is text, draw, chat, sing, dance, and play learning games with her granddaughter on their private server.
