Complete the program in residence at our Ambridge campus within a welcoming community shaped by worship and shared learning. Most students take 2–3 courses each fall and spring term, may add January and June Intensives, and finish in about 1 year of full‑time study.

Remain in your ministry context while you study. Take courses online or in a hybrid format, with many offerings available during January and June Intensives. Distance students typically take 1–2 courses per term across fall, spring, and summer and complete the program in 1–2 years of part‑time study.
Explore Church based education
An introduction to the Old Testament as the story of God’s saving work, tracing the arc from creation and covenant to exile and hope, and reading it in light of Jesus Christ. You will survey major themes and moments—Torah, prophets, wisdom, temple, kingdom—situating texts in their historical contexts while attending to how the Old Testament prepares and witnesses to Christ. The course integrates academic rigor with accessible guidance to help you read, pray, and teach the Old Testament faithfully for the life of the Church.

An introduction to the New Testament that situates the Gospels, Acts, Epistles, and Revelation within their Second Temple backgrounds, traces major themes across the canon, and articulates how biblical theology centers on the person and work of Jesus Christ. You will read representative passages closely, connect literary forms to theological claims, and learn how the New Testament’s witness shapes gospel proclamation, worship, and discipleship in the life of the Church.
An overview of catechesis through the lenses of practical theology and spiritual formation, uniting sound doctrine with lived devotion. You will study theological and pedagogical principles for forming disciples, engage classic Anglican practices that shape heart and habit, and connect teaching to daily life through guided rhythms of prayer, Scripture, and service. The course frames faith development as growth into Christ’s likeness for the sake of others, equipping you to cultivate a parish culture where belief, worship, and love mature together.
