Ms. Allyson Martin

BA - 1996, Duquesne University

Chief of Staff

Ms. Allyson Martin came to Trinity ten years ago when a friend of the school, believing she'd be a good fit, suggested she apply. She found what she'd always wanted: a role she could really invest in that makes the most of her administrative strengths. Her background in Psychology from Duquesne University helps her understand her friends and coworkers a little better every day—a skill that serves her well in building the strong, healthy community Trinity is known for.

As Chief of Staff, Allyson's goal is to keep the leaders at the top organized, on time, on task, and on point—believing that when leadership functions well, it trickles down to benefit students. She sees formation as inseparable from community, and by building a flourishing community at Trinity, she hopes to model for students what a healthy parish community can look like. This commitment to community shapes everything from daily operations to the rhythms of life together on campus.

What Allyson enjoys most about Trinity are her colleagues—they're the reason she's been coming back for a decade. She looks forward to the annual Christmas party, Commencement, and hearing student testimonies. Her hope is that the church will be strengthened by the quality and caliber of Trinity's graduates. In her free time, she enjoys home décor, scrapbooking, and board games. Fun facts: she once met Mr. Rogers in an elevator, performed onstage at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts, and has a growing collection of selfies taken in car washes.
